Author Lisa Rayne is an award-winning author, a speaker, and an advocate for the mainstream distribution of inclusive fiction that showcases multicultural protagonists. She provides readers with romantic stories featuring smart, sexy characters of diverse backgrounds across the span of time.

Lisa has won four Emma Awards, and her first sports romance debuted on two Amazon bestseller lists. Always looking to try something new, she put her sexy, banter-laden spin on historical romance with her milestone 2022 release featuring a Black Highlander. Never Cross a Highlander garnered the coveted Publishers Weekly starred review and was lauded by Kirkus Reviews as “a flawless combination of modern-day issues and old-school romance.”

As a business and intellectual property attorney, Lisa’s also passionate about helping creatives become savvy entrepreneurs. In her other life, she puts her expertise to use as a business strategist and entrepreneur coach. When she’s not writing or working, Lisa spends her time serving as track mom to the youngest of her two daughters, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, binge-watching planner flipthroughs on YouTube, and plotting how to get one of her novels turned into a movie featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
