CURRENTLY RECRUITING: Arc readers for Ice Matched.
In this fun and sexy, hostiles-to-horny contemporary sports romance, an abrasive Canadian ice dancer is forced into an unlikely pairing with a dance-challenged American figure skater in his last-ditch effort to return to the Winter Games, but this time as a member of the U.S. Olympic team.
And let’s just say…things don’t start off well.
If these tropes are your thing, you’re going to want to keep your eye on the ice. 🧊

Expectations
All Lisa’s ARCs are delivered via ebook. If you do not like or are not interested in digital ARCs, please do not sign up for one of her ARC campaigns. (Under special circumstances and for long-time Lisa Rayne reviewers, paperback ARCs may be available in limited quantities.)
To be an ARC reader for Lisa Rayne, you do not need to be a professional reviewer, or have read all of her books, or only ever leave five-star or four-star reviews. While we’re looking for people who, when they love a book shout it from the rooftops, we also have room for people who may not like a book and can let others know why in a manner that is not denigrating, disrespectful, or mean. We subscribe to the original purpose of book reviews and consider them to be a meaningful exchange between booklovers to help each other find the next great read.
What is an ARC?
An ARC is an Advanced Reader Copy of a book given for free to a reader with the expectation that the reader will post an early, public rating/review of the book prior to (where possible), on the day of release, or shortly after the release of the book.
Reviews help the book reach its best audience, by letting readers make informed choices about the next book they select. While Lisa can give readers a blurb, tropes, or a content warning list, she can’t give them what it’s actually like to read and experience her book for the first time. (Also, there isn’t much credibility to the recommendation if it comes from the author herself. Of course, she thinks it’s great! 😊)
Policies & Procedures
Limited Quantities
ARC distribution is generally limited to no more than 100 advanced readers per book. It may be the case that not everyone who signs up will receive an ARC. We are still appreciative of your enthusiasm for the applicable book and hope you will support it on release day regardless. Also, if you do not receive a particular ARC, this does NOT mean you can’t receive an ARC for a future Lisa Rayne release. Please do sign up again for the next book.
No Sharing, Copying, or Distributing
By signing up to receive an ARC, you agree that you will not share, distribute, duplicate, or sell your ARC to any other person. If you know someone who would like a copy of the book prior to release, please encourage them to fill out an ARC Sign-up Form. If you know someone who would like a copy of the book after release, encourage them to purchase the book or check it out from their local library. If a local library system does not carry the book, be an amazing library patron and request that library purchase the book for its catalogue.
🚫 AI Usage Prohibited – No AI Analysis or Editorial Feedback Wanted/Needed
We engage ARC readers solely to review and recommend 👍 (or not recommend 👎) a book to other readers. Lisa engages professional editors, proofreaders, and other editing professionals prior to book release. Accordingly, we are not looking for editing or writing style feedback. Furthermore, feeding the book into any AI software or platform for analysis, editing feedback, or any other purpose is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and violates the author’s rights. Certainly, if we wanted to know what a computer program thought about a book, we could feed it into AI ourselves. Which Lisa will never do or allow any member of her team to do. Lisa writes all her own books – you know, the old-fashion way – and is looking to build a community who is still willing to read, analyze, and write for themselves. If this is you, welcome aboard!
By signing up via our ARC Reader Form, you acknowledge and agree that you will not feed all or any part of the book into any AI program, analysis software, or large language model, including, without limitation, ChatGPT, Claude, and any other similar or related program of any kind now known or later developed.
Review Posting Standards
What You’ll Do
- Read the book.
- Post a timely* review on one or more public platforms.
- (e.g., Amazon, Kobo, StoryGraph, Goodreads)
- Send author the link to your published review.
- Receive author’s undying gratitude. 💕
*What is “Timely”?
(1) Release day reviews are best (and preferred),
(2) Followed by reviews posted within the first week after release, then
(3) Within the first month after release.
However, life happens. We understand that. We’d prefer you post the review when you eventually get a chance, even if it’s more than a month after release. Do note, however, that reviews posted outside the thirty (30) window or not at all will likely result in a reader not being eligible for a future ARC.
Authenticity Required
All reviews should be GENIUNE. The expectation is you will read the book and give your HONEST opinion as to whether you would recommend it to others and why (‼️ without providing spoilers ‼️).
Due to this, reviewers should not use the phrase, “I received this ARC in exchange for… [a review / or anything else].” If the reader wishes to disclose in the review that the book was an ARC or received for free, please make sure to note the review is “my honest and genuine opinion.” Most platforms will take down reviews if the word “exchange” is used, if there’s any implication that the author influenced the review, or if there’s any indication that the author paid for the review in any way (including in-kind gifts, such as merchandise or other freebies).
