Hi! I’m Lisa Rayne.

I write fun, action-adventure romance novels that feature badass Black and multicultural main characters living and loving on both sides of the Atlantic.

From the Renaissance to the Regency to the Old West through modern day, my stories promise readers alpha heroes and fierce, head-strong heroines (who drive the bad boy a little bit crazy while he’s fallin’ hard).

Writing helps me balance my creative side with my intellectual property lawyer and business coaching alter egos. The corporate side of me merges with my romantic muse to fuel my other passions: advocating for the mainstream distribution of fiction featuring multicultural protagonists and helping creatives become savvy entrepreneurs.

When I’m not writing, advocating, or business coaching, I enjoy being a mom to two GenZ daughters, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, binge-watching planner flip-throughs on YouTube, and plotting how to get one of my novels turned into a movie featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

While I’m waiting for the Rock to make my dreams come true, I’m thrilled to share my time and my stories with all of you.
